These are unprecedented times which are challenging in both our business and our everyday lives, indeed updates from various agencies are changing this picture on a daily basis!
We are a rural business which offers some protection and of course being a subject to Food Manufacturing legislation our food hygiene protocols are of the highest standards in order to prevent any form of cross contamination.
As well as our standard policies we have taken the decision to:
1. Cancel or decline any face to face meetings, either at our customers or suppliers’ premises until further notice.
2 .Allow only ‘business critical’ visits to our own sites at Churchstoke and Church Stretton.
3. Avoid conferences, shows, exhibitions or large gatherings until further notice.
4. Place any team members who are returning from travels abroad into self-isolation based on NHS guidelines.
5. Ask our team members to report if they are exposed via family or friend networks to anyone who may have been exposed or recently travelled to affected countries.
6. Avoid all but essential public transport travel until further notice.
7. Continue an internal review each morning based on Government, NHS and local updates
We have, in line with HSE recommendations, risk assessed each of our sites and made all the necessary changes to keep all our employees safe, as that is our number one priority.
